Obituary for Janice A. Pearson

Janice A. Pearson, age 82 of Naperville, entered eternal life through the salvation of Jesus Christ on Wednesday, May 2, 2018. She was born May 22, 1935 in Streator, Illinois to Henry and Bernice Averweg. Devoted partner of the late Donald Pearson. Beloved mother of Douglas Pearson of Naperville, David Pearson of Jacksonville, Florida and the late Daniel Pearson. Cherished mother-in-law of Scherri, Patrice, and Leigh. Loving grandmother of Lauren, Jack, Jake, Ethan, Vivian, Danielle, and the late Christopher. Caring sister of Karen Brown, Marcia Kaufman, Pamela Blanda and the late Jack Averweg and Lynne Averweg.

Jan will be fondly remembered for her strong faith, dedication to family, love of gardening and nature, and sparkling wit and humor.

Memorial Mass will be celebrated on May 15, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Raphael Catholic Church, 1215 Modaff Road in Naperville. Rite of Committal is private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Raphael Catholic Church.
