Obituary for Otis Dee Orr III

Otis Dee "Jerry" Orr III D.P.M., D.C., age 77, a resident of Naperville, IL, passed away on January 14, 2018 at his Naperville home surrounded by his loving family. He was born November 8, 1940 in Birmingham, AL.

Jerry is survived by his beloved wife of 49 years, Elizabeth Ann Orr; his loving daughter Jennifer (Gilbert) Buescher; his cherished grandchildren Katelynn, Mathew, and Emily Buescher. He is preceded in death by his dear parents Emily and Otis Orr Jr.

Jerry was born in Birmingham, AL, but grew up in Ft. Walton Beach, FL. He then spent 48 years living in Leo, IN before moving to Naperville, IL in 2017. Jerry graduated from National Chiropractic College in Indianapolis in 1964 and then Illinois College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago, IL in 1969. He then started a private practice in Ft. Wayne, IN and then opened up Analeptic Associates in 1970 where he practiced for 40 years. Jerry enjoyed fishing, gardening, time at the lake, was a huge history buff, but most of all he enjoyed being able to spend time with his family. Jerry was loved by many and will be dearly missed.
