William F. "Bill" Talsma, age 47, a resident of Chicago, IL, formerly of Dolton, IL, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on Monday, February 25, 2019. He was born September 23, 1971 in Evergreen Park, IL.
Loving companion of Heather Lindahl and her son, Arlo, beloved son of Frederick and Mary Jo (nee Ludwig) Talsma, adored brother of Julie (Rich) Puls of Naperville and Amanda Talsma of Naperville, fond uncle of Richie, Emma and William Puls, dear nephew, cousin and friend to many. Bill will be dearly missed by his cat, Kittoo.
Bill grew up in Dolton, attended Mount Carmel High School, Chicago (Class of 1989) was a graduate of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
Bill was a musician and artist most known for his work in Lucky Pierre, a Chicago based collaborative group working in writing, performance, education, activism, events and visual forms. A gifted drummer, bassist, and guitarist, Bill also played in various bands over the years including Motorhome and Ribbon Effect. Bill was Senior Art Director at Leapfrog Online in Evanston, IL.

A memorial visitation will be held Monday, March 4, 2019, 4:00-9:00 PM at Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 44 S. Mill Street, Naperville.
Everyone will meet Tuesday, March 5, 10:00 AM at Holy Spirit Catholic Community, 2003 Hassert Blvd. (corner of 111th St. & Book Rd.), Naperville, IL to celebrate a Memorial Mass.
