Obituary for Martin J. Pavlik

Martin J. Pavlik, age 68, of Plainfield, IL, formerly of Chicago, passed away peacefully on September 19, 2018 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born December 5, 1949 in Chicago, IL

He is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years, Charlene (nee. Lerch) Pavlik, whom he married on December 8, 1967; loving father of Kim Pavlik, Marty (Rose) Pavlik, Kelli (Brad) Bishop and Kristin (Nick) Carellas; devoted grandfather of Rendon, Austin, Marty, Taylor, Jake and Dylan; dearest brother of Alice Burnett and Wanda Spallerio; cherished uncle, cousin and friend to many.

Preceded in death by his parents, Martin and Betty Pavlik; sisters, Ann Daluga and Paula Lipke.

Martin lived an ordinary life but was an extraordinary man.

Memorial visitation will be from 10:00 AM - Noon on Thursday, September 27, 2018 at Overman-Jones Funeral Home & Cremation Services, corner of Routes 30 & 59, Plainfield.
