Obituary for Marilyn L. Osborn

Marilyn L. Osborn (nee Agnes), age 90, an eight year resident of Lisle, IL, formerly of Chicago, Des Plaines and Park City, IL, passed away on Saturday, May 9, 2020 at her home. She was born March 7, 1930 in Chicago.

Beloved wife of the late Norm Osborn, whom she married September 24, 1976 and who preceded her in death on September 20, 2001, loving mother of Thomas (Donna) Osborn of Lisle, beloved stepmother of Dave (Kay) Osborn of Huntley, IL, Larry (Cheryl) Osborn of Duluth, MN and Ken (Bea) Osborn of Waconia, MN, adored grandmother of Greg Osborn, Sophie Osborn, Erik (Amanda) Osborn, Erin (Sal) Felix, Alex Osborn and Karrie Osborn, cherished great-grandmother of Owen, Charlotte and Ben Osborn, devoted daughter of the late Charles and May (nee Sweeney) Agnes, dear sister of the late Bud, Frank, Bob, Dolores and Lorraine, sister-in-law of Gloria (George) Mohle of Northlake, IL, fond aunt, great-aunt and friend of many.

Marilyn grew up in Chicago and later lived in the Logan Square neighborhood where she raised her family. A loving and devoted homemaker, she also worked many years at General Foods in Chicago as a machine operator.

Marilyn also assisted her husband, Norm, who was a magician with The Knights of Sleights and Northern Knights of Sleights magic fraternities. Throughout the years, they performed many magic shows around the Chicagoland area.

Due to the current health crisis, services will be held at a later date.

Future inurnment: Resurrection Cemetery, Justice, IL.
