Charles "Chuck" Biegel, age 93, a longtime resident of Naperville, IL, passed away on January 1, 2019. He was born on July 19, 1925 in Evergreen Park, IL. Semper Fi “Always faithful” to his God, to his country, and to his family.

Chuck proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corps during WWII and was part of General MacArthur’s return to the Philippines in October 1944. After he was honorably discharged, he went on to earn his degree from the University of IL, as well as find the love of his life, Betty Louise Foss. They were married at St. Paul’s Union Church in Chicago on October 29, 1949 and enjoyed the next 58 years of their lives together. He then became the proprietor of Rentals Unlimited, Bolingbrook and successfully operated his businesses until his retirement. In his free time, Chuck enjoyed the game of golf and was a fearless traveler. Well into his 70’s he was still hitting the ski slopes or white water rafting in Colorado. Along with his wife Betty, Chuck was a very active member of Grace United Methodist Church and many of its ministries. Above all he was a committed family man who loved his God and his country.
