Obituary for William H. "Bill" Lossie

William H. "Bill" Lossie, Jr, 73, a resident of Naperville, IL since 1968, formerly of Westmont, IL, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, December 25, 2017 at his home. He was born June 25, 1944 in Hinsdale, IL.

Beloved husband of the late Irene Lossie (nee Conrad), whom he married November 30, 1968 and who preceded him in death on January 11, 1999, loving father of Nikki (Jim) Phipps of Plainfield, IL, Katie (Chris) Prats of Batavia, IL, William "Bill" (Lindsey) Lossie of Batavia, adored grandfather of Rena Phipps; Tom and Spencer Prats; Kaylee Krisher, Charlotte and Elijah Lossie, devoted son of the late William H., Sr. and Evelyn Lossie, dear brother of the late Priscilla Jarvis, the late Gail Lossie and the late Karen Lossie, fond cousin, uncle, great-uncle and friend of many.

Bill grew up in Westmont, attended Downers Grove High School, and was a proud graduate of Northwestern University in Evanston, IL with a degree in finance. Bill worked at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago for many years. Bill enjoyed golfing, fishing and watching John Wayne movies.

Visitation Friday, December 29, 2017, 4:00-8:00 PM at Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 44 S. Mill St., Naperville, IL.

A celebration of Bill's life will be held Saturday, December 30, 10:00 AM in the funeral home.

Interment: Clarendon Hills Cemetery, Darien, IL.
