Obituary for Milda L. Thompson

Milda L. Thompson (nee Dahl), age 96, a resident of Naperville, IL and former longtime resident of Lisle, IL passed away on April 10, 2018 in Naperville, IL. She was born September 9, 1921 in Spring Grove, MN.

Milda is survived by her sons Bob (the late Char) Thompson and Tim (Cathy) Thompson, numerous nieces, and many dear friends from her treasured church community.

She is preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, Raymond C. Thompson.

Milda wrote a “Life Diary” which describes in detail her early life growing up as a descendant of Norwegian immigrants on a farm in Minnesota, during and after the depression years.

Family and friends will gather Friday, April 13 for 9:00 AM visitation until time of funeral service 12:00 PM at Trinity Lutheran Church 1101 Kimberly Way, Lisle, IL 60532.

A private inurnment will be scheduled at a later date at Trinity Cemetery in Spring Grove, MN.

For those wishing to leave a lasting tribute to Milda's memory, donations to Trinity Lutheran Church would be appreciated.
