Obituary for John "Tony" O'Connor

John “Tony” O’Connor, age 54 of Naperville, formerly of Bowie, MD, passed away unexpectedly, Saturday, July 28, 2018. He was born October 27, 1963 in Baltimore, MD to his loving parents, Thelma and the late Michael O’Connor.

Loving and devoted father of Dylan, Jacob, Madeline, Samuel, and Charles O’Connor.

Proud Grand dad of Mason Rockcastle.

Cherished brother of Jeana (Jerry) Barber, Terry (Anthony) DiGuiseppe and Carmen (Thomas) Connolly.

Dear uncle of numerous nieces, nephews and friend to many.

Tony grew up in Maryland and moved to Naperville and dedicated his life to his family, his Church faith and his community. He was a member of St. Elizabeth Seton Church and the Knights of Columbus. Tony was a long time dedicated salesman for Blooming Color, formerly Minute Man Press of Naperville.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial is being established for Tony’s childrens’ future education fund.

Visitation: Wednesday, August 1st 4:00-8:00 PM at Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 44 S. Mill St., Naperville, IL 60540.

Mass of Christian Burial: Thursday, August 2nd 10:00 AM at St. Elizabeth Seton Church, 2220 Lisson Rd., Naperville, IL 60565.

Additional Mass of Christian Burial: Saturday, August 11th 11:00 AM at St. Anthony's Catholic Church 8816 Chesapeake Ave. North Beach, MD 20714.

Interment is private.
