Obituary for Jimmie C. Fiddler

Jimmie C. Fiddler, a longtime resident of Naperville, IL, was born in San Diego, California in 1941. He was raised as an only child by parents Noah Milton and Edna Mae Fiddler. He studied computer programming and had a long successful career with International Harvester and May & Speh. When he retired, he enjoyed delivering parts for Napa Auto to keep busy. He was a sweet and generous man who loved his children and the Cubs. He loved attending the kids’ sporting events and cheering them on to victories. He had the best stories of his childhood and silly jokes. He had many fur-babies throughout his life as he was an avid dog lover. He was a yes man! He enjoyed making others happy and didn’t know how to say no. He enjoyed good company and great conversations (or debates). His sweet voice, calm nature, laid back personality and wit will be greatly missed.

Jimmie is survived by his life partner, Deb Fullman and children, Jill Fiddler, Steven McCarthy, Lauren McCarthy, and Katrina McCarthy. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Jo Lynne Fiddler.

Private family services are being held. Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Naperville, was entrusted with arrangements.
