Daniel Stephen Weaver, DDS, age 82, a resident of The Carillon Club of Naperville, went to be with the Lord on February 13, 2018. He was a gracious, loving husband and adored father and grandfather.

Daniel leaves his beloved wife of 59 years, Linda (Riddle) Weaver; four children, Daniel S. (wife, Donna) Weaver of Chicago, IL; Douglas S. (wife, Janell) Weaver of Fishers, IN; Jeffrey T. (wife, Sharon) Weaver of South Lyon, MI; Jamie L. (husband, Corey) Rubenstein of Naperville, IL; nine grand children; sister, Helen Ann (Weaver) Harman; brother, Glen Weaver; and many close friends. He was preceded in death by his brother, Rev. John H. Weaver.

The son of Dr. Daniel S. and Erma (Haag) Weaver, Daniel was born on August 19, 1935 in Connersville, IN, where he spent his childhood. After graduating from Connersville High School in 1953, Daniel attended Indiana University, receiving a Bachelors of Science degree. He then continued on with his education, earning a Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 1961 from IU School of Dentistry. During his time in dental school Daniel met his wife Linda. They married in Indianapolis in June, 1959. Upon graduating from dental school, Daniel moved his young family to Connersville so he could join his father’s dental practice. Daniel continued to serve the Fayette County community with his love of dentistry until retiring in 1997.
After retiring, Daniel and Linda moved fulltime to their beautiful home on Mullet Lake, near Indian River, Michigan. Daniel had a passion for golf, fishing, boating, gardening, and IU basketball, which he enjoyed immensely during his retirement. He was a longtime member of the Connersville Country Club and the Indian River Country Club.

A Celebration of Life service will be held for Daniel this summer in Northern Michigan.
