Michael “Mike” Carbone, age 73, a Naperville, IL resident since 1992, died suddenly Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at Edward Hospital in Naperville. He was born January 22, 1939 in Chicago, IL. Beloved husband of Marilyn (nee Darsow) Carbone, whom he married September 30, 1961, loving father of Brian Carbone of Rockford, IL, Anthony (Cheryl) Carbone of Plainfield, IL and Cheryl (Joseph) Trajkovich of Carol Stream, IL, adored grandfather of Danielle and Justin Carbone; Michael and Abby Trajkovich, devoted son of the late Jerry and Mary Carbone, fond cousin and friend of many. Mike grew up on Chicago’s Northwest Side and graduated from St. Patrick’s High School, Class of 1958. He worked for many years at People’s Energy, Chicago, retiring in 1996. Mike was a member of St. Raphael Catholic Church in Naperville. Visitation Sunday, July 15, 2:00-8:00 P.M. at Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 44 S. Mill St., Naperville. Services will begin Monday, July 16, 9:45 A.M. from the funeral home and will proceed to a 10:30 A.M. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Raphael Church, 1215 Modaff Rd., Naperville, IL 60540. Interment: Clarendon Hills Cemetery, Darien, IL. In lieu of flowers, memorials to: St. Raphael Catholic Church. |
