Blanche A. Zachotina (nee Hejl), Age 89, a resident of Naperville, IL since 1997, formerly of Berwyn, IL, died Friday, February 10, 2012 at Edward Hospital in Naperville. She was born December 13, 1922 in Chicago. Beloved wife of the late Joseph Zachotina, loving mother of Rose Ann Shubert of Naperville, George (Andrea) Zachotina of Antioch, IL and Glen Zachotina of Palatine, IL, dear grandmother of Jason (Jennifer) Shubert of Woodridge, IL, adored great-grandmother of Jessica and Joey Shubert, devoted daughter of the late Josef and Anna Hejl. Blanche grew up in Berwyn and was a graduate of Morton High School in Cicero, IL. Before starting her family, Blanche worked at Western Electric Co., Hawthorne Works in Cicero. She will be remembered as a wonderful mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Visitation Monday, February 13, 3:00-9:00 P.M. at Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 44 S. Mill St., Naperville. Funeral Services Tuesday, February 14, 9:30 A.M. in the funeral home. Private Family Interment: Bohemian National Cemetery, Chicago, IL.
