Judy Wodarczyk

Judy Wodarczyk, age 77, a longtime resident of Aurora, IL, passed away peacefully on March 4, 2017. She was born on July 31, 1939 in Chicago, IL.

Judy is survived by her loving daughters, Denise (Tim) Olson of Plainfield, IL, Nadine Wodarczyk of Aurora, IL and Karyn (Ken) Neumann of Orland Hills, IL; her cherished grandchildren, Kevin (Christine) Olson, Elyse (Joshua) Moore and Tim Olson, Abigail Wodarczyk, Brent (Valerie) Neumann and Mallory (Ryan) Jordan; and her cherished great-grandchildren, Cameron Frank Olson, Aubrey Joy and Ellie Grace Neumann and the soon to be born Skylar Rose Olson; her dear sister, Karen (the late Richard) Wendling; as well as many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Frank Wodarczyk, in 2012 and her parents, Fred and Rose Damer.

Judy had a deep love for her family and lived every day for them. She gave selflessly of her time and remembered every birthday and anniversary of her family and friends. She volunteered for many years at Rainbows at St. Raphael Parish and helped many children with their grief. She enjoyed being outside surrounded by God’s beauty. She was most happy working in her garden, visiting the mountains, or shopping at J.C. Penney. Judy will be deeply missed, but her memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved her.

Funeral Information


Visitation will be Tuesday, March 7, 3:00 until 8:00 PM at the Overman-Jones Funeral Home & Cremation Services, corner of Routes 30 & 59, Plainfield. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, March 8, 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church, 801 S. Eola Rd., Aurora. Interment will be private.
