John G. Wagoner, Sr. age 72 of Bennington, NE, formerly of Plainfield, IL. Died May 6, 2012. Born December 2, 1939 in Annapolis, IL, the son of the late Floyd & Julia Wagoner. Beloved husband of the late Florence. Loving father of John (Sue), Floyd, Joanne (Joe) Mitchell and Jeannette Lauler, adored grandfather of Garrett, Wyatt, Nicole, Ryan, Julia, Jennifer, Katelyn, Diane, John William and David, cherished great-grandfather of Lillian and Brianna.
Served in the US Air Force. Retired from Illinois Bell, and from GTE. John is a pattent holder in telecommunication technology.
