Marie “ReRe” Castellani O’Donnell, age 55, a 22 year resident of Naperville, Illinois, peacefully passed into the arms of God on June 3, 2012 surrounded by the love of her family and friends. She was born on April 23, 1957 in Niagara Falls, NY. Marie is survived by her loving husband Tom; cherished sisters Carla (Don McLean) Castellani, Diane (Terry Bromley) Castellani, Anne (Thomas) Incorvia; dear brothers Robert (Rosemary) Castellani, Lawrence (Joan) Castellani, James Castellani, Mark (Donna) Castellani, T. Christopher (Helen) Castellani, Alfred (Kathleen) and Daniel (Cindy) Castellani; caring sisters-in-law Mary, Margaret and Catherine O’Donnell and dear brothers-in-law Patrick (Maureen) O’Donnell, Joseph O’Donnell, Edward (Wendy) O’Donnell and fond aunt of 34 nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father Armand Castellani, mother Eleanor Castellani and her brother Richard; her father and mother-in-law Joseph and Mary O’Donnell. Marie was a Medical Lab Technologist at Edward Hospital for 15 years, active in the women’s and high school ministries at Naperville Presbyterian Church (NPC), her church home. She was a Big Sister to Nicole and active as a board member in the Big Brother/Big Sisters Organization for several years. Marie was a supporter of the Lutheran General and Edward Hospital Cancer Foundations, Castellani Art Museum and the Morton Arboretum. She loved Sunday service at NPC, spending time with family and friends, visiting the Morton Arboretum, taking trips to the Adirondack Mountains and walking the beach at Siesta Key, FL. Visitation will be held, Wednesday, June 6th from 3 PM – 8 PM at Friedrich – Jones Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 44 South Mill Street, Naperville, IL 60540. The funeral service will be celebrated by Pastor Chris Hodge, Thursday, June 7th at 10:30 AM at Naperville Presbyterian Church, 943 Sanctuary Lane, Naperville, IL 60540. (630) 961-0579. A luncheon reception will follow at the church. Additional services will be held in Lewiston, NY.
