Luella M. Bolte, 88, a resident of Plainfield, IL, passed away peacefully on December 26, 2012 at Edward Hospital, Naperville, IL. She was born on February 10, 1924 in Lemont, IL.

Luella is the loving mother of Paula Balka of West Chicago, IL, Midge (Bill DeLuca) Urban of Aurora, IL, Denise (Gary) Moores of Naperville, IL and Jalayne (Todd) Dralle of Lockport, IL; the wonderful grandmother of Robin, Kristen, Colin, Allison, Danielle, Brendan, Chris, Kyle and Cameron and adored great-grandmother of eight; fond sister of Irene Blasing and Lois Jenco; dear aunt of many. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert, in 1994; and her parents, Howard and Elsie Weaver.

Luella was a lifelong member of the “Butterfly Club” and a longtime member of St Mary Nativity Catholic Church, Joliet. She enjoyed dancing the polka with her husband and playing cards with their friends.

Funeral Information

Visitation will be on Sunday, December 30, 2:00 until 8:00 PM at the Overman-Jones Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Plainfield. Closing Prayers will be Monday, December 31, 9:15 AM from the funeral home and proceed to a 10:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial at St Mary Nativity Catholic Church, 706 North Broadway, Joliet. Interment will follow at St. Alphonsus Cemetery, Lemont, IL.
