Theodore "Ted" G. ArvanitesJune 01, 1937 - December 02, 2012
Theodore G. Arvanites, age 75, of Plainfield, IL and longtime of Palatine, IL, passed away peacefully on December 2, 2012 at his home. He was born on June 1, 1937 in Chicago. Ted is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Nancy; his devoted children, Diana Epert and Dan (Jessica) Arvanites; his cherished grandchildren, Jake Epert and Carly Arvanites; his dear brother, John (Donna) Arvanites; as well as many wonderful nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Georgia Arvanites; and his siblings, Carol, Nick, Paula and Christ. Ted proudly served in the US Army. He worked for Pepper Construction for 30 years and was a lifetime member of the Carpenters Union Local #58, Chicago. Funeral InformationVisitation will be Sunday, December 9, 2:00 until 7:00 PM at the Overman-Jones Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Plainfield. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, December 10, 11:00 AM at the funeral home chapel. A private family interment will be at the Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood.
