Paul “Pete” Peter Baumgartner, age 87 of Naperville, IL, passed away peacefully, Sunday, December 30, 2012. Born February 7, 1925 in Naperville, IL. Beloved husband of Elizabeth “Betty” Jean Baumgartner, nee Landers, wedded on Nov 18, 1950. Cherished father of Stevan “Steve” Paul Baumgartner, daughter Lynn Ellen Klein and 5 beloved grandchildren: Eve & Alison Baumgartner, Sean, Jake & Caliegh Klein. He is also survived by his brother Fred “Fritz” Baumgartner and Ann Shoger and many nephews and nieces. Preceding him in death is his parents: Paul Peter Baumgartner & Bertha Baumgartner(nee Moser) and sister Margaret “Marge” Hinds.

Pete was a WWII Navy Veteran, lifelong member of Sts Peter & Paul Catholic Church and 30 year member of Plumbers & Pipefitters Union local 501

Funeral Information

Mass of Christian Burial: Friday, January 4, 2013 11:00 AM at SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, 36 N. Ellsworth St., Naperville, IL 60540. Interment to follow at SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery, Naperville, IL.
