Lee Kirchoff

November 15, 1928 - August 11, 2012

Lee Kirchoff, 83, a proud 50 year resident of Naperville, IL, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 11, 2012 surrounded by the love of her family. She was born November 15, 1928 in Traunik, MI.

Lee is survived by her loving children, Vicki (Tom) Rye of Nassau Bay, TX and Dean (Lynn) Kirchoff of Lombard, IL. She is the cherished Nana of Bryan Dano, Jeff Dano, Kelly (fiance Matt Kelemen) Dano, Andrew (Jennie) Rye, Mike Rye, Greg (Kelli) Rye, Michaela and Matthew Kirchoff; the wonderful Great-Nana of Steven Dano, Jack and Holly Rye and Noah Rye; the dear sister of Dick (Nancy) Bartol and the favorite aunt of many. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Raymond; her parents, Louis and Mary Bartol and her brother, Louis Bartol.

Lee was a charter member of St Raphael Church and the Traunik Slovenian Club. She retired from Lucent Technologies after many years of service.

For those who would like to leave a lasting tribute to Lee’s life, memorials may be directed to the Institute of the Blessed Virgin Mary/Loretto Sisters, PO Box 508, Wheaton, IL 60187, in care of Sister Elizabeth Crotty.

Visitation will be Monday, August 13, 4:00 until 9:00 PM at the Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Naperville. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, August 14, 10:00 AM at St Raphael Catholic Church, 1215 Modaff Rd, Naperville. Interment will follow at Mount Emblem Cemetery, Elmhurst.
