Levinson (nee Bohaboy), age 92, a resident of Naperville’s Monarch Landing, formerly of Berwyn and Countryside, IL,died suddenly Tuesday, January 1, 2013 at Loyola Medical Center in Maywood, IL. She was born July 16, 1920 in Chicago. Beloved wife of the late Honore Levinson, whom she married February 12, 1949, loving mother of Robert (Theresa) Levinson of Naperville and Lillian (Kenneth) Galus of Glen Ellyn, IL, adored grandmother of Doug, Nikki, Eric and Robbie Levinson; Annie (fiancé, Greg Gifford) Galus and Katie Galus, devoted daughter of the late Edward and Mae Bohaboy, dear sister of Edward (Ceal) Bohaboy of Mount Prospect, IL, sister-in-law of Elaine Weber of Wheaton, IL, fond aunt of many. LaVerne grew up in Berwyn, IL, was a graduate of Morton High School and attended Morton Junior College. She was a talented seamstress and a devoted grandmother. Memorial Visitation Saturday, January 5, 10:00 A.M. – Noon at Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 44 S. Mill St ., Naperville.
