Maxine Helen Montgomery (nee Arneson), age 78, a Bolingbrook, IL resident since 1963, died Sunday, January 29, 2012 at her home. She was born January 24, 1934 in Garrison, ND. Loving wife of Myron Montgomery, whom she married June 30, 1951, beloved mother of Michelle Doty of Joliet, IL, Michael (Laurice) Montgomery of Plainfielld and Mark (Kim) Montgomery of Mendota, IL, dear grandmother of Jennifer (Matt) D’Addio, Brad (Cyra) Doty, Heather Taylor, Tiffany and Tyler Montgomery, Allison and Ashley Montgomery, cherished great-grandmother of Michael, Tyla, Benjamin, Faith and Zachary, devoted daughter of the late Emil and Mary Arneson, dear sister of Lois (Dan) Campeau, Bertie (Mac) McMeans, Mildred (the late Clifton) French and Dorothy (Doug) Haynes and loving aunt of many nieces and nephews. Maxine grew up in Washington State, moved to Melrose Park, IL in the 1950s and settled in Bolingbrook in 1963. She worked for many years at Mid-America Bank, Clarendon Hills, IL and also worked as a hairdresser out of her home. Maxine enjoyed watching college basketball. Memorial Visitation Saturday, February 4, 9:00-11:00 A.M. at Overman-Jones Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 15219 S. Joliet Road (Corner of Rts. 30 & 59), Plainfield. A celebration of Maxine’s life will follow Saturday, 11:00 A.M. in the funeral home. Future Inurnment: Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL.
