Hua Wang

September 18, 1974 - January 26, 2017

Hua Wang, age 42, a resident of Naperville, IL since 2007, formerly of Chicago and Plainfield, IL, passed away Thursday, January 26, 2017 at Season's Hospice Home in Naperville after a brave battle with cancer.  He was born on September 18, 1974 in China.

Beloved husband of Jun Yang, whom he married on August 22, 1998, loving father of Ethan and Justin Wang, devoted son of Shuigou Wang and Peilan Zhou, dear brother of Qing Wang, Bin Wang and Yan Wang, son-in-law of Chiping Yang and Shuyu Liu, brother-in-law of Li (Yiping Yu) Yang and Xin (Fang Qiu) Yang, fond uncle of many, including Michelle Yu and Timothy Yu and friend of many. 

Hua grew up in Jishui, China and was a graduate of Beijing Normal University, Beijing with a Master's of Science in Chemistry. He also held a Master's of Computer Science from Governors State University, University Park, IL.

Hua came to the United States in 1999, first settling in Arkansas and later Chicago. He was employed with Harris Corporation, Naperville (formerly Leith Corporation), The Tribune Company, Chicago and most recently, Geneva Trading USA, Chicago.

Hua was a faithful member of Living Water Evangelical Church, Naperville. He enjoyed soccer, ping pong, reading, cooking and traveling.

Hua will be remembered for his godliness and his honesty.

Funeral Information

Visitation will be held Saturday, February 4, 9:00-10:00 AM at Living Water Evangelical Church, 1256 Wehrli Rd, Naperville, IL 60565, (630) 983-5677.

Funeral Services will follow Saturday, 10:00 AM at Living Water Evangelical Church.

Interment: Assumption Cemetery, Wheaton, IL.
