Robert W. “Bob” Kessie, age 81, a resident of Naperville, IL since 1952, died Friday, January 18, 2013 at his home. He was born June 20, 1931 in Berwyn, IL. Beloved husband of Geraldine (nee Janke) Kessie, whom he married July 3, 1952, loving father of Debbie (Steve) Blessing, Diane (Howard) Germon, Andrew (Sally) Kessie and Adrianne (Bill) Taylor, adored grandfather of Alex, Evelyn, Laura (Jake), Jim, Rachel and Brian, devoted son of the late Edgar and Louise (nee Hodapp) Kessie. Bob grew up in Brookfield, IL, attended Riverside-Brookfield High School, Riverside, IL and graduated from the Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT), Chicago with a degree in chemical engineering. He was employed as a scientist with Argonne National Laboratory, Lemont, IL for over 35 years. Bob enjoyed astronomy, computers and tinkering with electronics.
