Gerald “Jerry” Foresman, age 69 of Plainfield, IL at rest Monday, February 20, 2012 at Edward Hospital in Naperville, IL. Born May 28, 1942 in Chicago, IL the son of the late Harold and Berdine Foresman. Beloved husband of 38 years of Marianne, loving father of Trisha (Les) Haugen, Gerald (Samantha) Foresman, Jr., Jessica (Paul) Konczak, Tammi Ostrowsky, cherished grandfather of Ashley (Brett) Kahl, Jeffrey Haugen, Brett, Brook and Brenden Foresman, Tom and Katie Ostrowsky, Alex and Maggie Konczak, dear brother of Jack (Shirley) Foresman and Loice (the late Byron) Sumner, and fond uncle of many. Was employed with American Airlines for 37 years and most recently a friendly Wal-Mart greeter. Served with the US Army in Vietnam. Jerry was an avid golfer and a devoted family man. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the American Lung Association, 55 W. Wacker Drive, Suite 800, Chicago, IL 60601 or Help Save Pets, 24020 W. River Walk Court, Plainfield, IL 60544. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, February 27, 2012 at 11:00 AM in the Funeral Home. Interment will be private. A Memorial Visitation Sunday, February 26, 2012 from 2:00 – 6:00 PM with a wake service at 6:00 PM at Overman-Jones Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 15219 S.
