Rosemarie "Rose" Grasso (nee Pasciuto), age 89, a 12 year resident of Naperville, IL, formerly of Norridge and Wood Dale, IL, passed away on Saturday, May 6, 2017 at her home. She was born May 25, 1927 in Chicago, IL.
Beloved wife of the late Anthony "Sam" Grasso, whom she married February 8, 1948 and who preceded her in death on October 31, 1991, loving mother of Anthony (Tracy) Grasso of Shawnee, OK, Charlene (Mike) Kehoe of Bolingbrook, IL, Maryann (John) Cartina of Wood Dale, IL and Diana (Pat) Barrett of Naperville, adored grandmother of Mark Grasso, Damien (Mariana) Grasso, Audrey (Koty) Johnson and Sean Grasso; Joseph (fiancée, Shemeada Johnson) Kehoe, Lisa (fiancé, Travis Kulka) Kehoe and Ashley (Will) Wilcox; Anthony and Lea Cartina; Patrick and Ryan Barrett, cherished great-grandmother of Alexa; Giuliana, Natalia and Charlene; Haley and Cecilia; Rebekah, devoted daughter of the late Joseph and Rose Pasciuto, dear sister of Joseph Pasciuto of Elmhurst, IL and the late Angie (the late Sam) Iacovelli and the late Rachael (the late George) Spatola, fond aunt, great-aunt, cousin and friend of many.
Rosemarie grew up in Chicago's Taylor Street neighborhood, attended Precious Blood Grade School and St. Mary High School. She was employed by Motorola Quasar in Franklin Park, IL and later at Fannie May Candies in the Woodfield Mall, Schaumburg, IL. Rosemarie was a current member of St. Raphael Catholic Church in Naperville and a former member of Divine Savior Catholic Church, Norridge, IL and Holy Ghost Catholic Church, Wood Dale, IL. She enjoyed crafts and spending time with her family.
Visitation Tuesday, May 9, 2017, 4:00-9:00 PM at Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 44 S. Mill St., Naperville.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, May 10, 10:30 AM at St. Raphael Church, 1215 Modaff Rd., Naperville.
Interment: Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside, IL.
