Virginia “Ginny” Lullo, (nee Kibbler), age 83, a 50 year resident of Naperville, IL, at rest Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at Edward Hospital in Naperville, IL. She was born August 4, 1929 in New Haven, CT, the daughter of the late Albert and Corneal (nee Carleton) Kibbler.
Beloved wife of 57 years to the late Joseph W. Lullo, loving mother of Robert (Nancy) Lullo, David (Amy) Lullo, Michael (Lynn) Lullo and Thomas (Lisa) Lullo, cherished grandmother of James, Joseph and Brett; Rebecca and Eric; Samantha and Andrew; Emma, Nora, Kent and Mia, dear sister of Albert (the late Merryanne) Kibbler and Marilyn (James) Knapp, fond aunt of several.
Ginny was a member of the Class of 1947 at Lyons Township High School, LaGrange, IL and graduated with a B.A. in Mathematics from DePauw University in Greencastle, IN where she was a member of Alpha Gamma Delta sorority.
Ginny was a longtime member of St. John’s Episcopal Church, Naperville, joining in 1963. She was also an active community volunteer as member of the American Association of University Women (AAUW), Community Art Associates, Volunteers in Action (VIA), Loaves & Fishes Community Pantry, serving on the Executive Board and the Edward Hospital Auxiliary, serving as President from 1985-1987.
Visitation Tuesday, April 2, 4:00-8:00 P.M. at Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 44 S. Mill Street, Naperville.
Funeral Services Wednesday, April 3, 11:00 A.M. at St. John’s Episcopal Church, 750 Aurora Ave., Naperville with Rev. Verna Fair officiating.
Interment: SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery, Naperville, IL.
