Margaret R. Janis, age 93 of Plainfield, IL since 2005 at rest Jan. 13, 2013 at the Lakewood Nursing Center in Plainfield, IL. Born August 27, 1919 in Cambridge City, IN, daughter of the late Donald and Ruth Wright. Beloved wife of the late Carl, loving mother of Marcy (Joseph) Dillingham, the late Michael Janis and Carol (Thomas) Harris. Cherished grandmother of Stephanie (Joseph) Wahlund, David Dillingham, Linzie, Christopher and Matthew Janis, Casey and Taylor Harris. Dear great-grandmother of Brooke and Katlin Wahlund. Fond sister of the late Anna Katherine Dorris, the late Mary Jane Schrepferman and the late E.F. Wright. Margaret retired from a career in interior design in 1945, is a graduate of the Chicago Academy of Fine Arts, Class of 1939 and the Chicago Art Institute, Class of 1941.
