Steve G. Utrosa, age 90, a resident of Oswego and longtime of Bolingbrook, IL, passed away peacefully on December 1, 2012 at Edward Hospital, Naperville. He was born on July 3, 1922 in Chicago, IL. Steve is survived by his loving daughter, Denise (fiancé Scott Smith) Pejskar of Oswego; his cherished grandchildren, Karianne Pejskar, Brandon (Julie) Pejskar, Stephanie Pejskar and Narcius Utrosa. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 54 years, Jean and their son, Donald (Maria) Utrosa. Steve was a proud US Army Veteran of WW II, serving with honor in many European Theatre campaigns. He was a longtime member of the American Legion Post #1288, Bolingbrook. Funeral InformationVisitation will be Tuesday, 3:00-8:00 PM at the Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 44 S. Mill St, Naperville. Funeral Services will Wednesday, December 5, 10:00 AM at the funeral home chapel. Entombment with military honors will follow at Resurrection Cemetery Mausoleum, Romeoville.
