Lois June Varner (née Schulze), age 89, a resident of Monarch Landing in Naperville, IL, former longtime resident of South Holland, IL. Loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend passed from this Earthly life to Eternal life with her Lord and Savior unexpectedly on Monday, September 18, 2017. She was born June 1, 1928 in Chicago to the late Raymond and Frances Schulze.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Charles. She is survived by her daughter, Deborah (James) Rose of Dallas, TX, son, Russell (Jennifer) Varner of St. Charles, IL. Adored grandmother of Brian and Brandon Rose, Adelyn Varner and Jacob Lenzi (Candis), cherished great-grandmother of L.J. and Sonya Bell, dear sister of Frances Rae (the late Charles), and loving cousin, aunt and friend to many.
Memorial visitation will be Sunday, October 22, 2017 from 2:00-4:00 PM at Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 44 S. Mill St., Naperville.
A celebration of Lois' life will start Sunday at 4:00 PM at the funeral home with Rev. Richard A. Eddy officiating.
Family and friends will meet Monday, October 23rd, 10:00 AM at the funeral home and will go in procession to Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, Illinois for a 12:00 PM Noon committal service.
