Pauline M. Piereth

August 05, 1931 - January 19, 2017

Pauline M. Piereth, age 85, a resident of Oswego, IL and formerly a longtime resident of Naperville, IL, passed away peacefully on January 19, 2017 at The Tillers of Oswego. She was born August 5, 1931 in Elizabeth, NJ. Pauline is survived by her devoted husband of 61 years, Richard Piereth; her loving sons, Richard (Charlene) Piereth, Jr. of Naperville and Michael Piereth of Oswego; her cherished grandchildren, Kelly (Hank) Scott of Plainfield, Kevin (Kathleen) Piereth of Oswego, Kyle (Chelsea) Piereth of Bolingbrook, Kristopher Piereth of Naperville and Samuel Piereth of Naperville and great-grandchildren, Joseph Herbst of Naperville, Knox and Kash Piereth of Oswego, Sydney and Ellie Piereth of Naperville, Parker Piereth of Bolingbrook. She was preceded in death by her son, David Piereth; her parents, William and Mary DiTrolio; and her brother, William DiTrolio. Throughout her life, Pauline loved playing golf, dancing, or playing bridge with her friends. A devout Catholic, she was an active parishioner and prayer group member of St. Anne Church, Oswego and a previous member of SS. Peter & Paul Church, Naperville. Most of all Pauline loved being “Mom Mom” to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be deeply missed.

Funeral Information

Visitation will be Monday, January 23, 3:00 until 8:00 PM at the Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 44 S. Mill St., Naperville. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, January 24, at 10:00 AM at St. Anne Catholic Church, 551 Boulder Hill Pass, Oswego. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery, Wheaton.
