Shaun J. Theis, age 81, a resident of Naperville, IL, formerly of Geneva, IL, died Tuesday, February 26, 2013 at Tabor Hills Healthcare Facility in Naperville. He was born July 10, 1931 in Aurora, IL.
Beloved son of the late George J. and Catherine (nee Guirsch) Theis, loving brother of Edwin Theis of Darien, WI, Father Jerry Theis of Papua New Guinea, Dolores (the late Robert) bender of Vernon Hills, IL and Lorraine (the late Bud) Schaefer of Franklin, WI, dear uncle and great-uncle of many.
Shaun grew up in Aurora and later served in the U.S. Naval Reserves. He was a member of the Maryknoll Fathers & Brothers, an American Catholic organization that helps those most in need. Shaun later worked in the railroad industry for many years. Shaun was a member of Calvary Church in Naperville and loved dogs.
Family and friends will meet Friday, March 1, 11:00 A.M. at St. Mary Cemetery, Techny, IL for graveside services.
