LeRoy Gifford, 87, of Naperville, IL. Born June 4, 1924 in Chicago, IL, passed away peacefully Monday, February 6, 2012 at Community Nursing Center, Naperville. LeRoy is survived by his loving children, Wendy Mack of Bolingbrook and Craig (Diane) Gifford of Aurora, IL; his grandchildren, Jennifer Sposi, David Mack, Nicole Baugh, Lindsay Gifford, Danielle Gifford and Justine Jaskiewicz; his great grandchildren, Elijah Mack, Allison and Emily Baugh; and his sister, Dorothy Kealey. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Edna “Peggy” Gifford in 2005. LeRoy proudly served in the US Navy during World War II. Visitation will be Saturday, February 11, 10:00 until the time of funeral services begin at 11:00 AM at the Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Naperville. Interment will follow at Naperville Cemetery. |
