David S. Patkowa, age 38, of Plainfield, IL, formerly of Addison and Schaumburg, IL, died Friday, February 3, 2012 at Northwestern University Medical Center, Chicago, IL. He was born October 29, 1973 in Winfield, IL.

Beloved husband of Jennie (nee Koplinski) Patkowa, whom he married October 11, 1998, loving father of David Koegler and Jacob Aiden Patkowa, devoted son of Donald J. (Kathy) Patkowa and the late Lee (Mario Rosa) Olsen, dear brother of Jon E. (Erika) Patkowa of Bloomingdale, IL and Daniel (Janet) Patkowa of Henderson, NV, step-brother of Phillip (Megan) Cammarata of Itasca, IL, Vicki (Paul) Friedman of Mundelein, IL and Tracy (Steve) Sarcinelli of Lake in the Hills, IL, fond uncle of many.

David grew up in Addison, was a graduate of Addison Trail High School (Class of 1992) and attended Purdue North Central, Westville, IN where he played baseball. He owned and operated Dave’s Vending Services and was a member of Plainfield United Methodist Church. Dave enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Visitation Thursday, February 9, 3:00-9:00 P.M. at Overman-Jones Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 15219 S. Joliet Road (Corner of Rts. 30 & 59), Plainfield.

Additional Visitation Friday, February 10, 10:00-11:00 A.M. at Plainfield United Methodist Church, 15114 S. Illinois St., Plainfield, IL 60544.

Funeral Services will follow Friday, 11:00 A.M. at the church.

Interment: Wheatland Township Cemetery, Naperville, IL.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to: Plainfield United Methodist Church.
