Frank M. Weber, a resident of Oswego, IL, formerly of Naperville and Downers Grove, IL, passed away on Wednesday, August 2, 2017. He was born June 22, 1942 in Chicago, IL.
Beloved husband of Judith "Judy" Weber (nee Jegl), whom he married August 10, 1963, loving father of Rebecca (Mike) Moore of Romeoville, IL and Jocelyn Young of Plainfield, adored grandfather of Ashley Nowak; Tyler and Dylan Young, devoted son of the late Frank M. and Marjorie (nee Worrell) Weber, dear brother of Susan (Ken) Bishop of Lake Havasu City, AZ, fond cousin, uncle, great-uncle and friend of many.
Frank grew up in LaGrange, IL, was a graduate of Lyons Township High School (Class of 1960) and received an undergraduate degree in social studies and math from Illinois State University at Normal and a master's in education from Northern Illinois University at DeKalb. He had a long career in education with the Center Cass School District 66, Downers Grove, serving as a teacher and principal at Elizabeth Ide and Center Cass Elementary Schools. After retiring from his career in education, Frank worked part-time for many years at Hassett Commercial Moving & Storage in Addison, IL, most recently driving a pack truck into Chicago.
Frank was a member of First Church of Christ Scientist in Naperville.
Primarily, Frank was a family man. For many years after moving to rural Oswego, Frank enjoyed riding and caring for the family horses. He participated in long distant bike rides, Dock Dog competitions, and along with his wife, participated in off-road jeeping with Two Rivers Jeep Club in Pittsfield, IL. He excelled at family Pall-Mall games, a lawn game similar to croquet. Frank also enjoyed working in his yard. He especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

A celebration of Frank's life will follow Saturday, Noon in the funeral home.
