Cindy Marie Unger, age 52, a longtime resident of Plainfield , IL , passed away unexpectedly on January 17, 2013 at her home. She was born in Aurora , IL on September 14, 1960. Cindy is survived by her loving husband of 34 years, Douglas; her devoted son, Bradley (Shannon) Unger and her beautiful granddaughter, Madelyn Elizabeth Unger, all of Plainfield; her dear siblings, Jimmy (Sue) Letherman, Ruth (the late David) Kelleher, Jolynn (John) Hunt, Jerry Letherman, Harvey (Holly) Letherman, Jr.; Barbara (Mike) Hauser, Robert Letherman, Candy (Glenn) Fuller; as well as many nieces and nephews and a countless number friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harvey and Norma Letherman and her sister, Debbie Morgan. Cindy was a graduate of East Aurora High School . She managed the St. Vincent DePaul Store since 1992. Funeral InformationVisitation will be Tuesday, January 22, 3:00 until 8:00 PM at the Overman-Jones Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Plainfield . A Celebration of Cindy’s life will be held on Wednesday, January 23, 10:00 AM at the funeral home chapel. Interment will be private.
