Richard W. Newton, age 65 at rest suddenly, Wednesday, December 12, 2012 at Rush-Copley Medical Center in Aurora, IL. Born in Joliet, IL the son of the late Richard and Elva Newton. Beloved husband of Susan, loving father of Jason (Beth) Newton, Robert (Leslie Dusek) McLaughlin, Scott McLaughlin and Lori (Matthew) Babich, cherished grandfather of Mike and Zach Newton, Michael, Adam, Elizabeth, Allyson, McLaughlin and the late Ashley McLaughlin. Fond brother of Randall (Linda) Newton and Robert (Patricia) Newton and uncle and great-uncle of several. Richard was retired from the trucking industry, and in his spare time he enjoyed his 1952 Chevy Pick-up, motorcycles, auto racing, photography, woodworking and doing oil paintings.
