Born February 22, 1931 in Chicago, IL the daughter of the late Herbert and Olga Schmidt. Beloved wife of the late Lawrence, whom she married June 19, 1954. Loving mother of David (Laura) Riley and Laurie (DuWayne) Polte, cherished grandmother of Patrick (Rachel) Riley, Meghan Riley (fiancé Christopher Kunder), Kelsey and Erin Polte. Fond sister of the late Evelyn Mondrowski and the late Richard Schmidt. Dear aunt and great-aunt of numerous. Arlene graduated from Schurz High School in Chicago, IL and was employed with Nuveen Investments in Chicago, IL until her retirement.
