Kathryn J. Gofron (nee Batkiewicz), age 91, of Seneca, SC, former resident of Naperville, IL, passed Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at Oconee Hospice of the Foothills in Seneca. She was born in 1921 in Hastings, PA, the daughter of the late Stanley and Mary Batkiewicz. Loving wife of the late Paul G. Gofron, Sr., beloved mother of Barbara (Robert) Kreiling of Seneca, SC and the late Paul G. Gofron, Jr., adored grandmother of Bethann (Michael) Lavoie and Brian (Janelle) Kreiling, cherished great-grandmother of four. Mrs. Gofron was a resident of Naperville, IL for twenty years when she moved to Seneca, SC. She was a member of the Edward Hospital Auxiliary for ten years and the Oconee Memorial Auxiliary for six years.
