Marjorie E. McMillan, age 89, of Plainfield, IL passed away peacefully on January 1, 2013. She was born September 21, 1923 in Toronto, Canada. Marjorie is the beloved wife of the late Royal McMillan; the loving mother of Dennis (Joan), Wayne (Peggie), Gary and the late William McMillan; adored grandmother of 10 and great-grandmother of 7; dear sister of Thomas “Bud” Cordner. Marjorie was an amazing track star and if not for WWII, she would have competed in the Olympics for Canada. Funeral InformationVisitation will be Friday, January 4, 2:00 until 9:00 PM at Overman-Jones Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Plainfield. A Celebration of Marjorie’s life will be held at 8:30 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be private. |
