Marie R. Tucek (nee Mach), age 91, a resident of Naperville, IL for over 50 years, passed away Friday, January 18, 2013 at her home. She was born December 4, 1921 in Chicago, IL. Beloved wife of the late Method B. “Matt” Tucek, whom she married May 1, 1948 and who preceded her in death August 18, 2011, cherished mother of Karen (Joe) Sandrick of Naples, FL and Charlene (Bill) Rabinak of Naperville, dearest grandmother of Christine (Phil) Davie of South Lyon, MI, Curt Rabinak of Chicago and Garrett Rabinak of Naperville, great-grandmother of Madelyn and Owen Davie, devoted daughter of the late Augustine and Bessie Mach, dear sister of Irma Mach of Aurora, IL and the late Adolph (the late Sylvia) Mach, loving sister-in-law of Joe (Ann) Tucek and the late John (Lillian) Tucek, and the late Chuck (Arvella) Tucek, and the late Rosemary (the late Joe) Poposky, fond aunt of many. Marie grew up in Wheaton, IL and was a graduate of Wheaton High School. She worked for Kroehler Manufacturing Co., Naperville before starting her family. Marie enjoyed gardening, fishing and playing pool. She also loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and will be remembered for baking the best hard rolls.
