James J. Bassetto, age 57 of Naperville, IL at rest Monday, Nov. 12, 2012 at his home after an eleven month courageous battle with Leukemia. Born June 5, 1955 in Chicago, IL, the son of Leo and Dolores Bassetto.

Beloved husband of Alison and loving father of Madeline and Alex. Dear brother of William (Alana), Thomas (Kathy), Donna (Joseph) Leahy, Steven (Cassandra), and Linda (Douglas) Driscoll. Cherished uncle and great uncle of several. Fond son-in-law of Richard and Elizabeth Sauer.

Jim was in real estate here in the Naperville area, but his greatest accomplishment was being a father to his children. Jim enjoyed cooking for his family, being outdoors, was an avid golfer and Blackhawks fan.

Funeral Information

Visitation Thursday, Nov. 15, 2012 from 4:00 – 8:00 PM at Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 44 S. Mill Street, Naperville, IL 60540. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, Nov. 16, 2012 at 9:30 AM at SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, 36 N. Ellsworth St., Naperville, IL 60540. Interment at SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery, Naperville, IL.
