Bernard L. Rosenberg, age 91, was born on April 18, 1921 in Chicago, IL and came to peace on Memorial Day, May 28, 2012 at TaborHills Health Center, Naperville. Bernard was the beloved husband of the late Ann Ethel Rosenberg; the loving father of Holly (Rich) Cannon and Nat (Kathy) Rosenberg; the adoring grandfather of Derrick and Allicia Cannon and Annie and John Rosenberg; and the loving friend and companion of Ruth Perkins. Bernard was a proud US Navy Veteran of WWII. He attended Northwestern University and was a successful candy man. He was the extremely proud father of two college graduates and lived for his grandchildren. Bernard was an accomplished world traveler, a jazz aficionado and a diehard Cubs fan. Visitation will be Saturday, June 2, 4:00 until 8:00 PM at the Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 44 S Mill St, Naperville. All are welcome to gather on Sunday, June 3, at 9:00 AM at the funeral home to process to a 10:30 AM graveside service at Westlawn Cemetery, Norridge, IL.  View Memorial and Sign Guest Book |
