RICHARD D. CARROLL

Richard D. Carroll, 66, a resident of Diamond, IL and longtime of Chicago, passed away August 13, 2012. He was born March 4, 1946 in Chicago, IL. He is survived by his loving sons, Todd (Janice) Carroll and Daniel (Michelle) Carroll, his cherished grand-daughters, Amanda, Candace and Christa Carroll, and Daniel’s mother, Cynthia Carroll. He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Stella “Sally” Carroll and his brother, James (Helen) Carroll.
Richard was a proud US Army Veteran. He retired as a Lieutenant with the Chicago Fire Department, Truck 54, after 25 years of service. He was the former proprietor of the River Club in Rockdale, IL.
Visitation will be Thursday, August 16, 3:00 until 8:00 PM at the Overman-Jones Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Plainfield. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, August 17, 10:30 AM at the funeral home chapel. Interment with honors will follow at Plainfield Township Cemetery.
