James L. Barna, age 73, a long time Naperville, IL resident, at rest Tuesday, September 4, 2012 at the Pepper Family Hospice Home in Barrington, IL. Born September 28, 1938 in Aurora, IL the son of the late Max and Lucy Barna.
Beloved husband of Helen for 48 years, loving father of the late James Scott Barna, dear brother of Nancy (Gary) Clark and Betty (Paul) Jagen cherished uncle of Jodi Ceaser and Matt Ceaser. Jim graduated from Lewis University in Joliet, IL, was in the US Navy Reserves, and retired from American Airlines after 29 years of dedicated service. Member of Grace Gospel Fellowship in Bensenville, IL. In his spare time he enjoyed flying and fishing. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the donors choice.
Visitation Sunday, September 9, 2012 from 3:00 – 9:00 PM at Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 44 S. Mill Street, Naperville, IL and Monday, September 10, 2012 from 10:00 – 11:00 AM with a funeral service to follow at 11:00 AM with Rev. John Kirkwood officiating in the funeral home. Interment at Naperville Cemetery, Naperville, IL.
