Donald C. Wadolny, age 87 of Lombard, IL formerly of Brooksville, FL, passed away peacefully Friday, October 19, 2012 at the Beacon Hill Health Center in Lombard. Born May 31, 1925 in Chicago, IL. Beloved husband of the late Norene Ann Wadolny, wedded in 1948. Cherished father of Lynnette (Kenneth) Jatczak and Donnette (Daniel) Begian. Loving grandfather of Benjamin and Bradley Lambrechts, Jason, Matthew and Jenna Jatczak. Fond brother of Charlene (the late Gordan) Frey. Don was a US Marine, proudly serving his country during WWII in the Pacific Theatre. He was involved in many organizations while residing in Lombard, including: Chairman of the Lilac Parade, Bicentennial Parade, Commander of the VFW Post, and 1976 “Man of the Year” recipient of Lombard. Don was also a 40 year dedicated employee of Common Wealth Edison. Funeral InformationMemorial Service Saturday, October 27, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Beacon Hill Retirement Center, 2400 S.
