Alexis Reyna “Big Al” Bañuelos, age 18, a resident of Naperville, IL, formerly of Plainfield, IL, died suddenly on Monday, June 4, 2012 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. She was born July 28, 1993 in Oak Park, IL. Loving companion of the late Tyler Michael “TwoCanSam” Montgomery, who died in the same accident. Alexis and Tyler shared a short amount of time on earth and now will be together forever in Eternity. Beloved daughter of Ricardo and Raquel (nee Amaro) Bañuelos, adored sister of Stephanie (Rafel) Rosario and Nevada Bañuelos, cherished granddaughter of Reynaldo and Raquel Amaro and Rodolfo and Ramona Bañuelos, adored aunt of Matthew Nicholas Bañuelos, dear niece of Margarita Amaro, Elena (Joe) Peña, Arlinda (Jesse) Nuñez, Rodolfo Bañuelos, Jr., Ulysses (Lulu) Bañuelos and Gloria Bañuelos, fond cousin and friend to many, special friend of the late Brian A. Herrera. Alexis attended Heritage Grove and Ira Jones Middle Schools in Plainfield and was a 2011 graduate of Plainfield North High School. She was currently attending Joliet Junior College and working at Plato’s Closet in Naperville. Alexis loved cooking and always was open to trying new recipes. She also enjoyed scrap booking, beading and most of all, supporting Tyler’s band Midwest Mathmatics. Alexis will be remembered as a fun loving person who loved living life to it’s fullest. Visitation Friday, June 8, 2:00-9:00 P.M. at Overman-Jones Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 15219 S. Joliet Road (Corner of Rts. 30 & 59), Plainfield. Interment: Private. |
