Frederick “Fred” Sparks, age 80 of Naperville, IL formerly of Edison, NJ, at rest Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2013 at Edward Hospital in Naperville, IL.
Born March 26, 1932 in Rahway, NJ, the son of Joseph and Margaret Sparks. Beloved husband of the late Helen and the late Nadine, loving father of Andrea (Bob) Romero, Edward Sparks and the late Frederick P. Sparks, cherished grandfather of Rob Romero, Jon (fiancé Jessie Brauer) Romero, Alex Romero and Rachel Romero, dear brother of Dick Sparks.
Former member of St. Helena’s Church.

Funeral Information

Visitation Saturday, Jan. 5, 2013 from 8:00 – 9:30 AM at Costello-Runyon Funeral Home, 568 Middlesex, Metuchen, NJ 08840 with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 10:00 AM at St. Helena’s Church, 950 Grove Ave., Edison , NJ 08820.
Interment at St. Gertrude’s Cemetery in Colonia
