Arthur J. Prohl, 87, a longtime resident of Naperville, IL and formerly of Hammond, IN, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 6, 2012. He was born April 2, 1924 in St. Louis, MO. Arthur is survived by his loving children, Maureen (Richard) Porter of Northville, MI and James Prohl of New Orleans, LA; his cherished grandchildren, Gregory and Monica Porter, Kevin Prohl, Kris Dills, Keith Dills, Kirt Dills, Missy Barker and Chad Barker. Great-grandfather of several. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Mary Prohl, nee Dorsey, in 2001. Arthur was a Chemical Engineer with Amoco/BP and retired in 1989. He was a longtime member of SS. Peter & Paul Church. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, February 11th 11:00 AM at SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, 36 N. Ellsworth St., Naperville, IL 60540.
