Jonathan Paul “Jon” “JP” Holzer, age 20, a lifelong resident of Naperville, IL, at rest Sunday, November 11, 2012. He was born February 5, 1992 in Naperville. Beloved son of James L. “Jim” Holzer of Chicago, IL and Katharine “Katy” (nee Albrecht) Holzer of Naperville, loving brother of Marie, David and Caitlin Holzer, adored grandson of William and Lynn Albrecht of Naperville and the late Paul George and Barbara Marie (nee Kelleher) Holzer, cherished great-grandson of Doris (the late Mac) McLaughlin of Lisle, IL, loving nephew of Mary (Joe) Hull, Jane (the late Dennis Hare) Albrecht, Steve (Sandy) Albrecht; Tom (Barbara) Holzer, the late George (Kathy) Holzer, Gale Holzer, Mark (Kim) Holzer and Mary Beth (Ken) Walsh, dear cousin and friend of many, loving companion of Hannah Desch. Jonathan grew up in Naperville, attended Ranch View Elementary School, Kennedy Junior High School and was a 2010 graduate of Naperville North High School. He was currently in his junior year at the University of Iowa, Iowa City studying Psychology. Jonathan enjoyed snow boarding, was a member of the ski club at Naperville North and worked at Four Lakes Ski Resort in Lisle. He enjoyed music, attending concerts and was a great friend to many. Visitation Friday, November 16, 3:00-9:00 P.M. at Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 44 S. Mill Street, Naperville. Services will begin Saturday, November 17, 9:15 A.M. from the funeral home and will proceed to a 10:00 A.M. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, 1450 Green Trails Drive, Naperville. Interment: Private.
